Most likely reasons for this are the following:
1. You have not yet published your event. Check if your event is published:
PATH: Main Menu > My Account > My Events
3. Some Services require an Approval for new event submissions. Your event won't appear publicly on the service before it has been approved. To check if your event is waiting for approval go to:
PATH: Main Menu > My Account > My Events (your event is displayed with an overlay and if it has not been approved yet it displays; "waiting for approval" )
2. Your event does not have a valid address, or the address you gave is outside the service scope.
PATH: Main Menu > My Account > My Events > Click the Event in question > Click 'Enable Edit Mode' under the main image > click 'Manage Page' > open the 'Location' -tab.
If an address appears but it is indicated by red that there is something wrong with it > Add new address. Ensure Google Maps finds it on the map. Confirm new address > Remove old address > Save.
Refresh browser and try searching your own event on the 'Advanced Search' -page (Looking glass icon on the top right hand corner of the page)
